BIO

I have been working for over a decade as an active researcher in physical and neural rehabilitation, I have focused on non-pharmacological and conservative treatments to enhance patient rehabilitation and life quality. I've collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, including chiropractors, physiotherapists, medical doctors, engineers, and neuroscientists, committed to an evidence-informed, patient-centred approach. My research aims to uncover fundamental rehabilitation mechanisms and develop non-pharmacological interventions through clinical trials. A core skill is my proficiency in data analysis, utilising artificial intelligence to capture nuanced patient and clinician information. I have worked in three continents (Europe, Asia, and Australasia) in esteemed institutes with leading experts in these fields (Details in CV). I have authored 123 peer-reviewed journal papers and over 100 conference papers (proceedings and extended abstracts). According to Google Scholar, my work has been cited more than 5150 times, and I have an h-index of 36. I have 12 active international collaborations with 20 researchers or groups from 15 institutions in 9 countries worldwide. The NZCC was recently identified as 6th in the world for BCI Publications in Stroke, and I was ranked 5th most influential BCI author with two papers in the top 30.
