BIO
I have a diverse skill set with a background in engineering and a PhD in health sciences. I have been part of multi-disciplinary and international teams throughout my research career. My research involves using neuroscience, mathematics, statistics, engineering, and cognitive psychology to gain insight into the workings of the human brain and how it is linked with variations in cognitive workload. I am improving EEG processing techniques to gain more detailed insights from brain signals. I also collaborate with chiropractors to study pupillometry, EEG, and functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS). My ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between research and clinical practice. I am also collaborating with Nortek, a start-up that minimises EEG hardware.
